Pickup Demo
I plan on going into the studio in the next few weeks to get a clear recording of what my pickups sound like. In the meantime, here is a clip made with our Canon G-10 camera with no additional mic. The pickups are mounted in a pine bodied tele with Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds JS113 with tone and volume fully open. Played through a 1956 Gibson GA-70.
We’re now carrying my favorite guitar strings, Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds. In my opinion, they’re best strings ever made, period. They last longer and sound better than any strings I’ve ever used. By wiping the underside of the strings off with a small amount of WD-40 on a soft cloth after each use, the life of the strings is greatly increased.
The Pickups and Strings are available in our Store now.

well T.K., I’m definitely seeing me buying these in the next few weeks. Going to build up a Rutters Tele from scratch basing it around those pickups. You’ll hear from me in a couple days once this Maton acoustic of mine is sold. Selling it to be signed by Tommy Emmanuel and put of for auction for a private charity concert he’s doing. Least its going to a good home :)

Matt, I can tell you first hand that Marc Rutters is top notch…I go and visit him from time to time. He is a first class builder (his stuff is second to none!) as well and a truly neat guy. Your guitar is gonna be ridiculous: a Rutters/TK paring sounds pretty much like the ultimate tele.
