the greatest modern player..his style still current, resonates through guys like john abercrombie and brad shepik…starts with chico hamilton and works his way through giuffre…innovators…everything he did from mid 50’s to mid 60’s is stellar…a giant

just to add…the drummer on those clips-pete la roca sims- passed away yesterday…great player, he preceded elvin jones in the coltrane quartet..RIP

Thanks for sharing this! Great recording. I love the sound of a smooth guitar with light drums and a standup bass. You can’t beat it!
