Take The “A” Train
Guitarist Josh Jove worked out a nice two part version of a riff I posted awhile back on instagram. The riff is over the chords of Count Basie’s Take The ”A” Train. I’ve been lucky to jam with a Josh a few times, he’s a really versatile guitarist. His main band is the Shelters but recently (before coronavirus) he’s been playing lead guitar for the Eagles of Death Metal.
Check out Josh’s clip below, he’s playing a Duo Jet I did up for him last year. My clip is at the bottom for reference. Lately I’ve been working on a riff over the chords to Cherokee. I’ll post it in a week or so. Cheers
On The Bench
I’m getting close on two Specials, a blonde double cutaway and a one off single cutaway (pictured). There’s a chance the single cutaway will be available. It features roasted maple neck and sides, birdseye top and back and Stratosphere pickups in open top CAR housings. Also, my early vibrato castings. Send me an email if you’re interested, I can send more details and pictures. Hope you’re safe.
